Happy Christmas and New Year
I hope that however you spend Christmas, by yourself, with friends or with family, that amid everything there has been a little bit of plant magic. Perhaps it was a walk across a field or along a path or perhaps it was a gift. By my bed I now have a lovely book from my sister-in-law called ‘How To Read A Tree’ and in my garden, a gorgeous pot planted with flowers for Spring from my sister.
I mentioned in the Christmas Tree Forest blog that for the first time I managed to get the tree to take up water - its taken up a little more and so far - so good, we’re not hearing the thud as branches droop and baubles fall off….yet.
This is a short festive blog but I wanted to share the poem I was given to read on Christmas Eve!
I hope that if you have a tree it will continue to give joy to Twelfth night, and I wish you a very Happy New Year. Thank you for reading over the past twelve months, your support means a great deal and I look forward to seeing you in 2025!
love
Sally
